If you’re thinking about that #MovetoItaly & #ristrutturazionecasa projects, this could be your new holiday home in Italy!
We love these village houses & this medieval town dates back to 1200! There’s virtually no works needed on this one, bring your suitcase! Granted it’s not exactly that grand luxury vacation home in Italy, but it can be your ‘holiday home in Italy’ dream come true… We think so, check out the views…
First off, it has 3 bedrooms and it’s 57m² & 1 bathrooms all in excellent, move-in condition over 3 levels with a terrific rooftop terrace AND balcony; it’s a terraced house, but given these gigantic stone walls, you’ll never hear the neighbors.
It’s been nicely cared for, well restored & looked after, is certainly of nice quality and is definitely aesthetically pleasing & considerate of the space & it’s in very good shape! Hard to find the downside here, to be honest.
It has those classic beamed ceilings throughout that we love & good solid flooring.
The main floor is the living space with a nice fire place & a decent small kitchen & sweet niches & nooks.
The bedrooms are good sized & cozy with a nice layout & appearance; there’s no works to be done here, it’s very solid; charming & classic. Beautiful paint & plastering, the ceiling & roof looks to be in great condition.
It’s certainly habitable while you get on with decorating it to your own taste & adding your personal touch, you can literally either move on in, or turn the key for this to be a profitable holiday home in Tuscany for rent earner.
Of course we’d get stuck in with the usual bright shutters and flower boxes galore. Can’t have an Italian house without flower boxes, now, can you?
This is a superb ‘lock up n leave’ proposition for your vacation home in Italy. This could certainly work great as a holiday rental proposition, you know we’re a big fan of that.
There’s a number of agriturisme & holiday rental in Italy operations going on & given the lovely village centre location, could be a nice little earner as 2 beds, entire apartment are getting up to €100 per night in the area.
The village has the usual village amenities with a bakery, small shop, several restaurants, etc, and is a nice representation of typical Italian village life. It’s quiet, it’s peaceful…
The unique heart-shaped town of Boccheggiano in the heart of the ‘Metalliferous hills‘ has wonderful views over the Tuscan landscape & speaks to the ancient mining heritage of the region. Boccheggiano has been attested since the beginning of the 1200s in some documents as a center controlled by the Sienese Salimbeni family. The walls and the two access gates are still visible from the medieval period.
In the modern and contemporary period it became an important mining center for the exploitation of the numerous deposits of copper, iron and above all pyrite & some industrial plants are still operating today.
The area is popular with families & tourists seeking tranquility & peace far from the madding crowds, looking for a true Tuscan experience.
Of course Tuscany is known for its verdant & dynamic landscapes, its ancient history, artistic legacies & its timeless influence on high culture.
As the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance it is home since time began to many figures influential in the history of art and science & is the home of well-known museums such as the Uffizi, the Galileo & the Pitti Palace.
At the heart of Tuscany is Florence, around which it seems all things great & glorious revolve, like the planets to the sun. Art, music, literature, textiles, marble, architecture, jewelry, wine, phenomenal food; thousand year old villages, historic dynastic families reaching back countless generations into history, such as the Medici, Corsini & Donati, not to mention the spectacular cities such as Siena, Lucca & Pisa… all worthy to note, to enjoy, to revel in, to live, to visit & to appreciate.
